Here's what our guests have to say about Sweet Olive.
We are in Pensacola and drove all 214 miles with the top down. Every now and then one of us reminded the other that we had a great time in New Orleans. Your friendliness and hospitality will be the basis for a great success of your beautiful bed and breakfast. We sure will have the stories go around. We will stay in touch.

Hi Y'all! I just wanted to let you know how much fun we had in New Orleans. Much of that was due to your hospitality, which was greatly enjoyed and appreciated. Greg and I like to stay at B&B's, and we agreed that we thought yours made us feel more welcome, truly a home away from home, than any other. We hope to come calling again!
Just a short note to say that I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your courtesies shown to me last Friday night. You have worked very hard to have a special place. It is a such a palace!

Just wanted to drop you a line and thank you for everything during my short stay at the Sweet Olive. I especially want to thank you for the coordination of my transportation from the Jazz Fest on Sunday back to the Sweet Olive and then on to the terminal. If it wasn't for you, I would have either missed the Jazz Fest or the boat or both. Thank you again for your warm hospitality. The Sweet Olive is surely a wonderful place and I will tell my friends about it.
Thanks for making our stay in New Orleans so relaxing and enjoyable. We had a great time and The Sweet Olive is wonderful. We really appreciated the recommendations on restaurants, and advice on how to get around the city. Dinner at Irene's was a blast with the group of us which always increases the fun. Thanks for hauling us around and the hospitality. We will definitely see y'all again in the future, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Just a note to let you know once again what a great time we Blooms had at Sweet Olive last weekend. We couldn't have picked a more wonderfully welcoming host nor better accommodations for our family at this point in our lives. Everyone got home ok - some even on time! We will certainly advertise your B&B to our friends and acquaintances. Take care of yourself, the dogs, yard, Clara etc...and DO look us up if you come out this way.

Several months ago I posted here to inquire about a quite clean B&B to stay out outside the French Quarter. I received a few answers one of which was from Stuart at Sweet Olive. We spoke and I booked for 2 couples for 3 nights to attend an international trade show. Our stay was outstanding. The fresh pastries, and freshly ground coffee were ready every morning. Since Stuart and his niece both like to bake there was no shortage of other fresh baked goodies to sample. The place was spotless thanks to Clara, Stuart's housekeeper. He recommended 2 places to eat. Feelings and a Italian place nearby that were outstanding. The Marigny area where Sweet Olive is located is ongoing tremendous renovations ,and the end results will be something to see. If you want to escape the noise and hustle and bustle, don't miss staying here.
I just wanted to tell you what a wonderful time we had staying with you at Sweet Olive. It was terrific! We will be back! In fact, we told a friend about our visit and they want to join us next year for French Quarter Fest, so we will want to reserve two rooms. It was really wonderful to stay with you because we feel like we don't just know of a wonderful place to stay in one of our favorite cities, but more importantly we have new friends. That is the best.

We just want to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at your place. You made us feel very much at home. Everything is so beautiful and the atmosphere is so pleasant. Thanks for your kindness in driving us to the Quarter, etc. Please remember us to Bosco.

I wanted to write and thank you for a wonderful time at your beautiful bed and breakfast. Laura and I enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Getting away in New Orleans was a bit more relaxing because we stayed there. I hope you're doing well. I'm sure you are. Keep things under control in The Big Easy 'til we come see you again. Take care and until next time...Auf Wiedersehen.
