Our spacious double parlor is decorated with a hand painted landscape of lush banana plants.

Games, puzzles, radio, MP3 player, TV, and library are on hand to help ourguests create their own fun.   For families and friends that reserve the entire B&B for a wedding, reunion, or other special event, this room makes a great spot for a small reception or party. And we'll be happy to help you find the perfect catering for your event. More Info

Breakfast at Sweet Olive
We offer a complimentary breakfast of pastries, juice, coffee, tea, yogurt and fresh fruits.

Large and beautifully detailed with ceramic tile floors and counters, the kitchen is the center of morning activities. Breakfast is served here and guests often gather around the vintage table to plan the day's activities or recount their adventures from the night before. A variety of beverages and snacks are available at all times, although guests may not cook due to local regulations. We can recommend available catering options for "at home" meals. More Info

The Courtyard
Lush and shady, the courtyard at our B&B offers a peaceful respite from what can be a noisy city.

Fragrant flowers bloom year-round, with datura, jasmine, roses, mint, daisies, zinnias, and a variety of climbing plants growing in profusion. More than 40 young sweet olive trees border the enclosed and very private yard. You're likely to hear our mockingbird in residence and exotic plantings attract a variety of butterflies. More Info

The Tub Room
While all of our rooms have private baths, you can also treat yourself to a quiet, luxurious bubble bath in our six-foot antique tub, surrounded by a magical mural.

A starry night sky looms above a grove of sweet olives while misty figures cavort under their branches. A variety of bath products, plenty of thick towels and candles are available to make bathtime a truly relaxing and fun addition to your stay. More Info

La Grande Entrée
The beautiful entrance hall to our bed and breakfast is your first hint of the one-of-a-kind experience that lies ahead. Nearly thirty feet long, the hall's thirteen-foot ceilings hold old-fashioned ceiling fans. The floors, made to look like original inlaid parquet flooring, have actually been hand-painted in exquisite detail. White and cream striped walls are brought to life with the owners' extensive collection of Jazz Fest and Mardi Gras posters.

The hallway also showcases the elaborate costume worn by one of your hosts when he ruled as King of Endymion, and reigned over the city's largest Mardi Gras parade. More Info
